Hatha Yoga

YOGA Essence Studio is a purpose designed warm and inviting space to offer a peaceful place to enjoy your practice of yoga. Located in the heart of Celbridge Village beside the grounds of Castletown.

Hatha Yoga classes suitable for everyone for all levels of fitness and flexibility. Classes Includes a therapeutic teaching approach. Beginners to mixed ability classes. Students are encouraged to progress at their own pace.

Classes include Hatha Yoga beginners to advanced levels. Hatha Yoga is excellent for Beginners and using the breath, increases stamina, flexibility, aligning and strengthening the body, quieting the mind and awakening the spirit.

Meditation & Mindfulness

Meditation & Mindfulness practices are a wonderful way that can develop awareness and mindfulness of our body, our senses, our minds and hearts. Meditation helps us change the way we relate to ourselves and the world.

We learn that we have a choice about what we think and feel. Meditation empowers us to choose. If you are searching for the answers to deeper questions in your life, meditation can help along the way. There are various traditions and methods to meditation, so it is nice to approach meditation with an element of exploration and curiosity to find out what method appeals to you along the way. Meditation is a practice that anyone can learn at any stage of life's wonderful journey!

Pregnancy Yoga / Mum & Baby Yoga

Pregnancy yoga is a wonderful way to also bond with unborn baby. Through some very gentle breathing practices, you will learn relaxation while also learning to prepare for birth through the breath and visualisation.

Mum & Baby Yoga offers some fun and quality time for you and your baby and of course meet new friends. This is a wonderful opportunity to engage with baby one-to-one and learn how to read your baby’s communication cues.

We will concentrate classes on targeting specific areas such as upper back, pelvic floor and abdominals. The class is gentle and will help you regain your pre-pregnancy tone. Your baby can also enjoy postures along side you or be part of the posture.

We also focus a lot on relieving tension in areas such as the neck, shoulders.
